Adjusting rear bumper skirting when replacing muffler
Background:
The muffler (old P/N 6842544-6) on 960 4 door with MULTI-LINK model years 1992-1994 is withdrawn as a replacement part and is replaced by the
muffler for model year 1995 (P/N 9161793-6).
The new muffler is longer than the old one. The rear bumper skirting mounting must be moved so that the skirting is not damaged by the heat from the
muffler. Minimum recommended distance between the rear bumper skirting and muffler is 20 mm (3/4").
