Remove the air cleaner (ACL) module. See: Air filter module. See: Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair.
Removing the intake manifold
Remove:
-
the screws (1) for the intake manifold
-
the hose clamp at the junction to the rubber hose for the turbocharger (TC)
-
the EVAP canister hose (2) from the intake manifold
-
the brake vacuum hose from the intake manifold. Lift out the pipe.
