Antenna Amplifier: Service and Repair
Replacing antenna amplifier
Removing
The antenna amplifier is located in the cargo compartment, beside the right tail lamp.
Ignition off.
Open the tail lamp cover where the antenna amplifier is located.
Remove:
-
antenna amplifier screw.
-
connector.
Remove antenna amplifier.
Install in reverse order.
Checking antenna amplifier
Switch on radio and tune in to a weak station. Turn up the volume and go to the back of the car. Listen to the radio while disconnecting the power
supply. The station should sound weaker or there should be more interference.
