Replacing the Front Section Of the Convertible Top Unit

Replacing the front section of the convertible top unit

Replacing the front section of the convertible top unit 

Removing the front section of the convertible top unit 

Set the convertible top to the position illustrated.
Ignition off.
Make a note of the anti-theft radio code.
Disconnect the battery negative lead.

Remove: 

-

the front latch arm

-

the cable harness between the motor for the front lock and the front roof arch

-

the micro-switch for the front latch arm

-

the motor for the front lock

-

the drive wire for the front lock.
