Volvo Workshop Service and Repair Manuals

Set the convertible top to the position illustrated.
Ignition off.
Make a note of the anti-theft radio code.
Disconnect the battery negative lead.

Remove: 

-

the cover for the front lock motor in the convertible top

-

the connector

-

the 2 nuts for the mounting for the lock motor.

Note! Counterhold so that the rubber mounting for the motor is not damaged.
