Remove: 

-

the 2 nuts for the motor

-

the locking for the wires.

Note! Counterhold so that the rubber mounting for the motor is not damaged. 

Replace the motor.

Note! Ensure that the drive wires do not move while replacing the motor. 

Installing the motor for the rear latch 
Install in reverse order.

Hint: Ensure that the drive wires are properly secured before installing the motor.

Operate the convertible top manually. See Emergency operation See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Emergency Operation.

Replacing the motor for the cover plate lock 

Removing the motor for the cover plate lock
