Lift the steering gear into place from the left.

Suspend the steering gear from the rear engine mounting.

Hold up the steering gear so that it hangs straight in relation to the frame. Tighten the engine mounting bolt to 50 Nm.

Align and attach the steering gear to the steering column universal joint.

Fit a new locknut on the steering column universal joint. Tighten to 20 Nm.

Fit the locking eyebolt.

Attach the oil pipes loosely to the steering gear. Use new O-rings.

Fit the front bracket for the oil pipes (loosely).

Line up the pipes with the bracket on the steering gear. Tighten the oil pipes in the steering gear to 25 Nm.
