Removing the lower section of the backrest upholstery
Remove:

Remove the seat from the car according to Lifting mechanical seats in and out See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Replacing Mechanical
Seat/Lifting Mechanical Seat In & Out

Remove the seat from the car according to Lifting the power seat in and out See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Replacing Seat With Seat
Heater/Lifting Power Seat In & Out

the backrest adjustment knob according to Backrest adjustment knob
Power seat
Open the J-trim.
Mechanical seat
Fold the backrest or position the backrest in the forward folded position.
Slacken off tension in lumbar support.
Remove the five half moon clips at the bottom edge of the backrest.
