Add key
This function is used when the customer has ordered new keys. The key code for the spare key must be programmed into the control module before it can
be used to start the car. The control module memory can hold six key codes.
Delete key
This function is used when the customer wants one or more of the car's keys to be disabled and no longer capable of starting the car. This could be due to
a lost or stolen key that can be traced to the car.
All programmed key codes are deleted from the control module memory. The key codes of the remaining keys are then reprogrammed into the control
module memory. It is therefore important that the customer brings all of the car's keys along to the workshop. The control module memory can hold six
key codes.
Ordering software/key
Note! To be able to add a key, a key and software must be ordered. Only software must be ordered to delete a software.
Order a key and/or software for C 70 .
Programming a key in the control module
Note! The key can only be programmed or deleted once the key and/or software are accessible.
If a new key has been added, check its function.
Use VIDA vehicle communication to check that no diagnostic trouble codes have been stored during the work.
