Position the weatherstrip joint in the middle of the rear edge of the sun roof. Cut off excess weatherstrip using scissors (P/N 998 6006-6).
CAUTION: Use sharp scissors of the correct type so that the cut is smooth and straight. This will provide good adhesion for the bonded joint.

Bond both ends of the weatherstrip together tightly using adhesive (P/N 1161095-3).
