Power Seat Motor: Removal and Replacement

Motor and potentiometer in backrest, replace 

Special tools:

Preparations 

Caution! Install the transport safety device for the SIPS Airbag. See  Replacing seat assembly See: Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Replacing Seat Assembly. 

Removing 

Make a note of radio code if anti-theft coded radio is installed.
Remove:

-

Battery negative lead.

Seat from the car in accordance with  Replacing seat assembly See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Replacing Seat Assembly

Seat upholstery. See  Backrest upholstery, replacement See: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Backrest Upholstery,
Replacement.
