Preparatory work
Disconnecting the battery lead
Disconnect the negative battery lead.
Removal
Removing the center console
Remove the center console. See Replacing center console See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Replacing Center Console.
Removing the handbrake lever
Remove:

the connector from the handbrake switch
-
the connector's mounting screws and the connector
-
the 3 handbrake lever mounting screws
-
the brake cables from the lever unit
-
the lever unit.
