Cigarette Lighter: Removal and Replacement

Replacing cigarette lighter assembly 

Replacing front cigarette lighter assembly 

Ignition off. Disconnect battery negative lead.
Remove tunnel compartment. Center console See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Center Console , Interior, exterior, S70/V70, 1997-.

Remove: 

-

cigarette lighter assembly from tunnel compartment.

-

wiring from mountings in tunnel compartment.

-

connector from its mounting and disconnect the connector.

Replace cigarette lighter assembly.
Assemble in reverse order.

-

Test cigarette lighter assembly function.

Replacing rear cigarette lighter assembly 
Ignition off. Disconnect battery negative lead.

Remove: 

-

rear ashtray panel according to:

-

cigarette lighter assembly connector.

-

cigarette lighter assembly from panel.

Replace cigarette lighter assembly.
Assemble in reverse order.

-

Test cigarette lighter assembly function.
