Remove:
-
cover.
-
1 screw for the end mounting.
-
the B-post panel.
-
1 screw for the seat belt guide.
-
rear side panel according to Replacing panels See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Replacing Panels.
Installation
Tighten the upper screw to 48 Nm .
Seat belt (inertia) reels and seat belt tensioners
Warning! After a collision replace both the seat belt tensioners, seat belts and seat belt buckles. This applies even if no-one was sitting in the
passenger seat.
Warning! The battery must not be connected when the ignition cable connector is being removed or installed.
Installation
Tighten the screw to 48 Nm .
Warning! Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected non-deployed seat
belt tensioner. This could deploy it.
