Warning! Ensure that nobody is in the car when the battery is being connected. 

Check: 

Check that: 

-

the steering wheel can be turned easily.

-

the horn is working by pressing the four corners of the steering wheel module.

-

the SRS indicator lamp in the combined instrument panel is not lit all the time.

Note! Check that the SRS indicator lamp is intact by turning the key to position II. The SRS indicator lamp should light and go out after
approximately 15 seconds.

Preparations 

-

make a note of the anti-theft radio code.

-

ignition off.

-

disconnect the battery negative lead.

Warning! During assembly, the ignition must be in position II. Then reconnect the battery negative lead, according to  Conclusion. Ensure that
nobody is in the car when the battery is being connected.
