Stabilizer Bar: Procedures
Front
Anti-Roll Bar Front, Replacing
Special Tools: 999 5006, 999 5033, 999 5460
NOTE:
-
On early version cars, the bushings and caps on the anti-roll bar can be replaced. On late versions the bushings and caps on the anti-roll bar are
vulcanized into the bar and cannot be replaced.

The late version replaces the early version of the anti-roll bar.
Install support rails 999 5033, mounting bracket 999 5006 and lifting hook 999 5460. Lift up the engine slightly
Remove:
-
the splash guard under the engine (early type only)
-
the five nuts holding the steering gear to the sub-frame.
Remove the screws for the oil pipe brackets from the sub-frame at the front and rear edges
Position a mobile jack at the rear edge of the sub-frame
