Volvo S40 workshop manuals
Volvo S40 at a glance: 8 manuals, covering 2001 to 2010 models, with engines from 1.9 to 2.5 litres.
About the S40
The S40 was Volvo's smaller saloon from 1995 to 2012, priced below the 850 and later the S60. The first generation had an estate, the V40; with the second generation of 2003 the estate became the V50, and the car moved to a platform shared with the Ford Focus and Mazda3.
What these manuals cover
- 2001 (first generation): the 1.9-litre turbo four.
- 2004–2010 (second generation): the 2.4-litre five and the T5's 2.5-litre turbo five, with front- or all-wheel drive.
Tip: the V50 is the estate version of the second-generation S40, with the same engines.
