Front Door Limiter: Service and Repair

The door stop for the front side door

Removing the front door stop

Remove:

-

the loudspeaker grille

-

four screws

-

the connector

-

the loudspeakers.

Snap the pin upwards.
If necessary, compress the locating pin.
Remove the two screws. Remove the door stop.

Installing the front door stop

Note! "FL"=front left."FR"=front right.

Apply grease P/N 116 1512 to the new door stop.

Install:

-

the door stop. Check that "FL" or"FR" can be seen on the upper side

-

the two screws

-

the pin with the opening in the door stop's longitudinal direction. Tighten by hand.

Tighten the screw. Tighten to  10 Nm.

Install:

-

the connector

-

the loudspeaker

-

four screws

-

the loudspeaker grille.
