Auxiliary Power Outlet: Removal and Replacement

Replacing the cigarette lighter - electrical socket

Removal

Ignition off.
Remove the rear section of the center console according to  Rear center console See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Center Console.

Remove the cover for the cigarette lighter.
Carefully pry out the catch using a small screwdriver. Pull off the electrical socket for the cigarette lighter assembly.

Installation

Install in reverse order.
Reinstall the center console according to  Rear center console See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Rear Center Console.
Ignition on.
