Slacken off the four mounting screws for the steering gear

-

Pull the steering gear out from the mounting points.

Hang up the steering gear on a hook.

Lowering the front axle crossmember

Note! Mark up the position of the front axle crossmember on the right and left sides of the body side at the front and rear. This is to avoid
adjusting the wheel alignment after finishing work.
