Install the parking assistance module (PAM) on the right-hand side of the cargo compartment.
Applies to the V50

Screw the control module in with the existing screws with plastic nuts (1) from the kit.
Applies to the S40

Apply small pieces of butyl tape by the holes where the control module is to be installed. This will prevent rattling.

Secure the control module in the existing holes. Use the clips (2) from the kit.
Connecting the parking assistance module (PAM)
Connect:

black connector to the control module's upper port.

brown connector to the control module's lower port.

green connector to the car's CAN cable, which has a green connector clamped in the front edge of the large hole in the side of the body.
Applies to cars with towbar and/or Accessory Electronic Module (AEM)

The existing green connector is connected to the trailer module (TRM) / accessories electronic module (AEM). Disconnect the control module
connector and connect it to the PAM cable's female connector.
