Note!
It is important that no over adjustment
is made causing the inhibitor function to be
impaired; see the Inspection of the inhibitor
function section.
Note that the handbrake will ALWAYS have to
be lifted slightly (about 5 mm or 0.20") before
the button is pushed and before lowering to
release the handbrake lock and, in turn,
release the parking brake.
Press the adjustment locking tab into place.
Checking the inhibitor function
Check for a clear click sound from the lever's
notches when the lever is applied, (without
holding the push button in).
Note! It is extremely important that the teeth
engage the segments.
To avoid any risk of teeth disengagement,
please keep a freeplay in the push button from
0.5 mm (0.02") to 1 mm (0.04").
