Preparatory work

Removing left engine pad

Remove the left engine pad. See: Engine support insulator left See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Drive Belts, Mounts, Brackets and
Accessories/Engine Mount/Service and Repair/Engine Support Insulator Left.

Removal

Removing the bracket 

Remove:

-

the 3 screws

-

the bracket.

Removing the gear shift lever

Detach the shift cable from the arm using 999 7077 Jimmy bar See: Tools and Equipment/999 7077 Jimmy Bar.
Press out the spring pin with 999 7221 Press tool See: Tools and Equipment/999 7221 Press Tool. Use the long pressure pin.
Remove the lever.
