Hint: Use a ring wrench with a lock function.
Remove the 2 nuts for the gear selector cable lead-in from either side of the center console. Unhook the lead-in from the studs in the floor.

Installation

Caution! When installing the cables, make sure that there are no sharp bends or kinks in the cable, especially between the inner cable and outer
casing.
