Rear Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Electric motor, lift mechanism, rear door

Removal

Removing the electric motor for the power window mechanism

Caution! The control module and the electric motor may not be parted.

Remove:

-

the door panel.  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Rear Door 

-

the 1 connector

-

the 3 screws

-

the lift mechanism motor.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. See: Specifications

Installing the electric motor for the power window

Install:

-

the lift mechanism motor

-

the 3 M6 screws. Tighten

-

the 1 connector

-

the door panel.  See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Panel Rear Door

Initialize the window lift mechanism.
