Emergency Battery: Service and Repair

Reserve battery Volvo On Call, replacing

Removing the reserve battery

Remove the radio/telephone. See Radio/telephone, changing See: Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Radio/Stereo/Service and Repair.
Remove the keypad.
Remove two screws (Torx 6) as illustrated.
Open the cover and lift out the battery.
Press the catch with a screwdriver to unplug the connector.

Note! Be very careful when releasing the catch. The connector and printed circuit board are fragile.

Note! Mark a cross in the box on the battery decal when the reserve battery has been installed to prevent new and old batteries from being
mixed up.
