Installing the blower fan motor

Install:

-

the engine coolant fan (FC)

-

the 4 screws for the fan. Tighten

-

the switch for the fan in the printed circuit board. Secure using hot adhesive

-

the fan shroud

-

the 16 screws for the fan shroud. Tighten.

Switch, replacing

Removing the switch

Remove the 16 screws. See Replacing blower fan motor.

Note! Do not slacken off the screws for the fan.

Remove the fan shroud. See Replacing blower fan motor.

Note! Do not damage the cable for the fan.

Detach the 2 cables from the switch.

Hint: Mark up the cables before removal.

The switch is secured using hot adhesive.
Cut away the adhesive using a sharp knife.
Press out the switch.
