Fuel Door Release Actuator: Service and Repair

Electric motor, fuel tank filler cover, replacing

Removal

Motor for the fuel tank filler cover

-

Fold down the backrest

-

Remove the right side cushion. See Side cushion See: Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Rear Seat/Side Cushion

Remove the floor hatches

-

Remove the hatch from the right side panel. See Cargo compartment side panel cover See: Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk / Liftgate Interior Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Cargo Compartment Side Panel Cover

Remove the right side panel in the cargo compartment. See Side panel, cargo compartment, replacing See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim
Panel/Service and Repair/Side Panel, Cargo Compartment, Replacing

Remove the upper soundproofing on the right-hand side. See Upper soundproofing in the cargo compartment side panel See: Sound Proofing /
Insulation/Service and Repair/Upper Soundproofing In the Cargo Compartment Side Panel

Remove the screws under the fuel tank filler cover

-

Detach the motor

-

Disconnect the connector.

Installation

Motor for the fuel tank filler cover

In reverse order.
