Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair

Lock cylinder, replacing

Removing the lock cylinder

Remove the knee bolster. See Knee bolster See: Restraint Systems/Knee Diverter/Service and Repair.
Open the lugs.
Press out the cylinder.

Note! It is not necessary to remove the lock assembly when removing the lock cylinder.

Installing the lock cylinder

Install:

In reverse order.
