Drill out the hole. Use the 7.3 mm / 12.5 mm (9/32" / 31/64") diameter special drill bit (P/N 8633152). Continue drilling until the larger drill bit
just comes into contact with the aluminium in the boot lid under the plastic. Drill a little at a time. Check the depth.
Note! Do not scratch the layer of paint on the aluminium panel with the large drill bit.

Use compressed air to blow away any swarf. Carefully increase the gap between the plastic and the panel in order to remove the swarf more easily

File down the edges of the hole

Repeat the operation on the right-hand side.

Check that the spoiler aligns in the drilled holes. Screw the two locating pins into the holes in the spoiler. Then insert the two locating pins in the
holes in the boot lid

If necessary: adjust the holes using a small round file

Treat the edges of the holes using a rust-proofing agent.

Clean the surfaces on which the spoiler is to be installed. Use a mixture of 30% windscreen washer fluid and 70% water

Wipe dry.
Note! To ensure the best results, it is recommended that two people press the spoiler onto the boot lid.
