Insert the key in the steering wheel lock.
Pull theuppersteering shaft down. Secure it on thelowersteering shaft.
Install the nut. Tighten to 30 Nm.

Note! Use new screw and locknut.

Install:

-

the stop lamp switch. See Stop lamp switch, replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair

the push rod and the clip. See Stop lamp switch, replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.

Preparatory work

Remove the brake lamp switch in accordance with: Stop lamp switch, replacing See: Lighting and Horns/Brake Light Switch/Service and Repair.

Remove the relay box from its bracket
