Remove the heat deflector plate on the firewall. See Replacing the heat shield for the Thermostatic expansion valve See: Expansion Valve/Service and
Repair/Replacing the Heat Shield for the Thermostatic Expansion Valve.

Remove the locking bracket for the refrigerant pipes

-

Disconnect the refrigerant pipes from the expansion valve.
