Caution! To protect the headlight housing from adhesive residue, tape the headlight housing with masking tape.
Tape around the housing as illustrated (1) (everything that is block) against the edge of the lens. Also tape at the decor strip attachments.
Removing the headlight lens
If the lens is broken/cracked, remove it as described in Removing a broken/cracked headlamp lens See: Removing A Broken/Cracked Headlamp Lens
