Remove:

-

the rear seat cushion. See Cushion See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat/Cushion

-

the connector. See Igniter wire connector See: Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Igniter Wire Connector 

-

1 nut for the seat belt (inertia) reel (48 Nm)

-

1 screw for the end mounting (48 Nm).

Replace the seat belt (inertia) reel and tensioner.

Hint: If the seat belt (inertia) reel is replaced when fault-tracing, it is easier to do when the side cushion is removed and the connector separated.

Rear seat belt buckle (S60, S80)

Remove the rear seat cushion. See Cushion See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Cushion/Service and Repair/Rear Seat, Passenger Seat/Cushion.
