Install the cables in the connector with the opening for the primary lock facing up as illustrated. Press in the secondary lock.

Joining cables

Splice the new connector with cables to the existing wiring. See: Joining the cables See: Sensors and Switches - Powertrain Management/Sensors and
Switches - Ignition System/Ignition Switch/Diagrams/Diagnostic Aids/Wiring/Joining the Cables 

Installing connectors

Install the connector with cables on the back-up lamp switch.
Install a tie-strap as illustrated so that the cable harness is not in contact with the gear selector cable.

Install the air cleaner (ACL) housing.
Test the function.
