Disconnect the battery lead. See Battery, replacing See: Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery, Replacing

Remove the generator (GEN). See Generator (GEN), replacing See: Alternator/Service and Repair
-
Disconnect the connector
-
Undo the nuts on the cover
-
Slacken off the screws. Remove the cover
-
Remove the screws from the governor
-
Lift the governor up / out.
