Applies to cars with automatic gearbox:

Move the gear selector lever to position P

Move the ignition key to position I

-

Press the mechanical cable into the ignition switch and feel to see that it is correctly secured

-

Remove the ignition key and check that the gear selector lever is blocked in P position.
