Measure the position of the wheel spindle and spring strut. See Wheel knuckle / spring strut, calibrating See: Front Steering Knuckle/Service and
Repair/Procedures.

Slacken off both the screws retaining the spring strut in the wheel spindle. Do not remove the screws yet.
