Front Door Lift Mechanism Assembly

Front door lift mechanism assembly

Removing the lift mechanism assembly from the front door

-

Remove the run-off profile according to Run-off profile and bracket See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door
Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Run-Off Profile And Bracket.

Remove the side window according to Window, front side door, replace  See: Window Glass/Front Door Window Glass/Service and Repair.

-

Drill out the 4 blind rivets according to Removing rivet .

-

Twist the lift mechanism assembly out through the opening for the door mirror.

Installing the lift mechanism assembly

Install:

In reverse order.
