Important information 
Always replace on both sides of the seat, and replace all components included in the repair kit.

The illustration only shows components for non-folding seats and for one side. The procedure shows replacement on one side of the seat.

Preparatory work 

Removing the front seat 
Remove the front seat. See: Front seat, replacing.

Removal 

Removing the whiplash unit on non-folding seats 
Remove the side panel from the seat and place to one side.
Detach the cover over the screws on the side of the seat.
