Compress the new spring. Thread it into the control arm.
Note! Ensure that the spring is gripped in the same place as the old spring.
Install:

the spring in the control arm

the striker plate:999 7079 striker plate See: Tools and Equipment/999 7079 Striker Plate

the grommet
-
release the spring.
Remove the hydraulic piston:951 2911 Hydraulic piston See: Tools and Equipment/951 2911 Hydraulic Piston using claw:951 2913 Claw See: Tools
and Equipment/951 2913 Claw and extension rod:951 2937 extension rod See: Tools and Equipment/951 2937 Extension Rod.
Note! Lubricate the rubber ring using soap solution for easier installation.
