Removal
Steering wheel module (SWM)
Remove the steering wheel. See Steering wheel module See: Relays and Modules - Steering/Steering Mounted Controls Communication Module/Service

Column Cover/Service and Repair
Remove:

2 screws
-
the connectors
-
the control module with stalks and the contact reel by releasing the catches on the underside

The control module is now exposed.
Installation
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Programming the control module
Program the control module. See the table below:
Note! Vehicles from model year 2004 mist be loaded with software for the Steering wheel module (SWM). Vehicles from model year 2005 shall
only be loaded with software for the Steering Angle Sensor Module (SAS) if the vehicle is equipped with DSTC.
