Pull the shock absorber from its mounting

Release the retaining strap.
Warning! There is a risk of compression injury, do not place your hands in the area surrounding the shock absorber when releasing the
retaining strap.
Disconnecting the lateral link

Install the retaining strap and secure the lower control arm slightly against the jacking point

Remove the lateral link screw at the spindle

Slacken off the screw at the front mounting slightly. Turn the lateral link downwards
-
Slacken off the screws for the outer mounting for the control arm 2-3 turns.
