Secure the spring strut in a vise.
Remove:

the nut for the shock absorber bearing. Use socket 999 5467 SOCKET See: Tools and Equipment/999 5467 Socket and a 3/8" Torx-wrench as a
counterhold.

the washer
-
the support.
Removing the spring
Relieve the load on the spring seat using hydraulic tool 951 2911 Hydraulic piston See: Tools and Equipment/951 2911 Hydraulic Piston together with
plates 951 2914 Claw See: Tools and Equipment/951 2914 Claw.
Remove:

the fixing nut on the shock absorber. Use socket 999 5469 SOCKET See: Tools and Equipment/999 5469 Socket and a 3/8" Torx-wrench as a
counterhold.

the rubber bump stop and gaiter.
