S60 (other engines)

Remove the gear lever knob in accordance with Gear selector lever knob, replacing, M58, M56, B5244T5, M66 See: Manual
Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter M/T/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Gear Selector Lever Knob, Replacing.
Removing the gear cable from the ball coupling
Remove the gear cable from the ball coupling.
Use puller999 7071 Puller See: Tools and Equipment/999 7071 Puller.
Hint: Turn the puller's bolt counterclockwise to detach the gear cable.
