no-one was sitting in the passenger seat.
Warning! The battery must not be connected when the ignition cable connector is being removed or installed.
Seat belt (inertia) reels and seat belt tensioners

2 M14 seat belt reel screws. When installing, tighten to 40 Nm

1 Torx 30 seat belt tensioner screw.
When installing, tighten to 6 Nm.
Warning! Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected non-deployed seat belt
tensioner. This could deploy it.
Warning! The seat belt tensioner must never be taken apart, repaired or moved to another vehicle. For information about handling replaced seat belt
tensioners.
Removing the seat belt buckle
Hint: Adjust the seat to its center position length ways so that all the mounting points are accessible. Also adjust the seat to its highest position.
Remove:

the connectors (under the front edge of the seat)
-
the side piece from the front mounting for the seat
-
the side piece from the rear mounting for the seat
-
the four screws for the seat mounting
-
one screw for the seat belt buckle
-
the clips for the cable harness.
Hint: Angle the seat backward. Secure the seat so that it does not fall forwards.
