Hint: After carrying out the repair check that the fault has been remedied.

Ignition off.

Reconnect connectors, reinstall components.

Ignition on.

-

Pull in the tailgate handle.

Read the status for the tailgate handle.
The value should be LOW when the handle is pulled.

Ignition on.

Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

-

Note any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

There should be no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored.

Before erasing diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) all indicated faults must be corrected.

NOTE:  To obtain the correct communication with the control module during the procedure the instructions concerning the ignition switch position must
be followed.

Select 1 to continue erasing.
Select 2 to interrupt erasing.
