Evaporative Shut Valve: Service and Repair
Replacing the shut-off valve for the carbon filter container
Removing the shut-off valve
Remove the carbon filter container according to See: Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General
Diagnostics/Component Access/Replace Procedures/Carbon Filter Container, Replacing
Disconnect the connector, clamps and hoses from the EVAP canister shut-off valve.
Remove the EVAP canister shut-off valve.
Installing the shut-off valve
Install the clamps and hoses on the shut-off valve. Check that the hoses are correctly positioned and are not twisted or kinked.
Connect the connector. Press the quick-release connector together until a clicking sound is heard.
Install the carbon filter container according to See: Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General
