Exposing the cable harness
Remove:

the center console. See Center console, replacing See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Center Console,
Replacing.

the radio. See Radio cassette player, replacing See: Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc/Radio/Stereo/Service and Repair/Radio Cassette Player,
Replacing.

the phone module. See: Cellular Phone/Communications Control Module/Service and Repair.
Unplug the connector at the SRS control module.
Repairing the cable harness
Note! If an airbag(s) has deployed, the cable harness must be checked. See Checking the collision cable See: Testing and Inspection/Component

Note! If an airbag(s) has deployed, the status of the reserve battery must be checked. See Checking the reserve battery See: Cellular

The following pins are for Volvo On Call:
Connector at SRS control module: Pin B28 (yellow/white cable).
Connector at keypad: Pin 17 (yellow/white cable).
