Seat Belt Buckle: Service and Repair

Seat belt buckle
Removing the seat belt buckle
Remove the seat from the car. See Removing power seats, tilting See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.
Disconnect the connector. See Multi-connector See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Second Generation Power
Seats/Multi-Connector.
Detach the wiring from the steel clips.
Note! Check that the wiring is correctly routed.
Remove:

one screw
-
the seat belt buckle.
Installing the seat belt buckle
Install:
-
the seat belt buckle
-
one screw
-
the wiring using the steel clip
-
the connector. See Multi-connector See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Second Generation Power

Note! Check that the wiring is routed the same as the original wiring. Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the wiring.
